The Dress
This dress is fitted to the body very nicely. If you want a glove fit that reveals your natural curves, this is the dress! It gives the appearance of a strapless dress, but the sheer upper-body material that connects the bodice lace design with the bottom crepe holds the dress perfectly in place while walking or dancing. It is one piece though it may appear like two separate pieces. The back zips up. The sheer open-looking back is lined eloquently with buttons that stretch from the base of the back up vertically to the neck and are functional buttons over the zipper.
Alterations
I bought a size 6, but had it altered to more like a size 5. I did have alterations on the length because I originally ordered extra long, given I am 5'9" and planned to wear heels. It was still too much fabric! Additionally, I had the front bodice lace cinched just a bit toward the arm pits so it sat high enough on the breasts and did not gape. The last alteration that I had done was to shorten some of the scalloped lace design along the front base of the dress. This was done because when walking, it would get caught under the shoe. The difference is not noticeable when worn.
