This dress was worn once at my wedding in 2012–it is a gorgeous ivory 100% silk organza gown by Marisa Bridal. A-line and flowy with lots of dreamy pickups in both the front and the back, there are also buttons from the top of the back of the dress down to about your tailbone. I added a French bustle as well which connects the bottom of the float back to the lowest button when bustled. Once steamed, it looks like it’s out of a fairy tale! It was professionally cleaned and preserved right after my wedding and has been living in a gown box in our spare room since then as I waited to see if I was going to have a girl who may want to wear it one day (that’s how much I loved this beauty!); now with one boy toddler and another little boy on the way, I know it’s time to let someone else enjoy this dress. I am 5’4 and wore the dress with thick flat sandals, am a 32 DD bust, and about 130 lbs. The only major alteration I made was to the bustline. It was originally scoop neck, and I had it cut into a V to show a little more cleavage.
