I am a former bridal store owner. This is one of two mistake orders I had left after leaving the industry. It was never worn, and only tried on a couple times at our closing sample sale. It is in new-unaltered condition. This Alexandra features a plunging neckline, open sides, and a striking back. The skirt was modified/customized to feature a straight chiffon skirt instead of the orginally designed layered pick-up skirt. The bodice showcases hand-sewn Spanish lace and refined double straps. The dress was also modified/customized with off-white chiffon and satin lining rather than the originally designed "smoke" grey color as featured on the Truvelle website. This gown is tied together beautifully with a silk bow that is both elegant and dramatic.
The bodice is lined with a stretch satin, and lies close to the skin. Minimal support is provided through the straps and waistband. Skirt length measures roughly 46″. It can easily be shortened using an experienced bridal tailor.
Label and street size 6, but depends on where the waistband is worn/placed. At the natural waist it will fit like a true size 6. At the ribs (more empire style) it will fit more like a size 4 or small size 6. The exact waist band measures 28" and bust fits a 34-35".
