This truly magnificent NEW WITH TAGS dress is from Resort'12 collection by the late and great Oscar de la Renta, the master of opulent elegance! This tea-length dress is exactly as worn by Maisie Williams on the red carpet; by a model, with an added belt; and by Sarah Jessica Parker in an upcoming movie "Best Day Of My Life."
It is a confection of champagne, silver and gold embellishments in a universally flattering silhouette. It is a masterpiece of design and construction! The dress is supremely flattering, easy to wear and sparkles as the light hits the embellishments.
Construction: fitted lined top part with an illusion neckline, and a full skirt that is made of 6 different layers: the top embellished layer, champagne colored sparkly layer, 3 layers of sheer tulle and a nude colored lining. Embellishments: the embellishments are 3D and are in various metallic shades. They have been hand applied and according to the original Saks listing, it took 285 hours to hand embellish it. They include rows of bugle beads, seed beads, sequins and lame, hand applied in a variety of asymmetrical patches on a tulle base. The dress for sale (lying flat) is the same as on Maisie W., SJP, and on the model (except the model has a separate belt on).
The dress is NEW WITH TAGS, in pristine, never worn condition.
Size: 10US. Approximate measurements: Bust 35.5”, Waist 30”, Length 45" -- including sheer tulle at the bottom, so the covered-up length is shorter by a few inches.
